Saadani National Park is a new wildlife reserve, located on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Tanzania, which gives you the opportunity to see land and sea animals. This is the only park in East Africa that meets the beach. This will make you enjoy your trip by taking pictures and playing marine games. Saadani National Park covers 1,137 km and is located 160 km northwest of Dar es Salaam on the Chalinze/Segera highway.
In this park, there is a river that flows into the Indian Ocean and preserves a large number of hippos, crocodiles, flamingos, and many species of birds. The nasal bottle dolphin is common on the south coast of the reserve.
You may be lucky enough to see a green turtle roaming the beach. Also exciting is the number of elephants playing in the sand. Saadani is one of the most unique and exciting parks in Tanzania. Its landscape is dotted with palm trees and mangroves in an isolated coastal rain forest inhabited by large African mammals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopards.
